A sudden announcement of increased data plan prices by big telecom companies in the first week of July has disappointed a huge customer base. Postpaid users can’t avoid this hike but can change to a lower plan if they want to in the next billing cycle.
All the big telecom companies including Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea have made this significant move to establish profit margins for their investment in new technologies like 5G so fast. Most companies which made the price hike up to 30%. BSNL made a significant move by not changing the plan prices much. This move made BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) to establish a new customer base rapidly. After this hike, a huge customer base is now shifting to BSNL and many planning.
